Live rock

I will be ordering about 5 boxes of Tonga Ridge rock (Kaelini) for the upcoming large tank upgrade. If anyone else needs some, let me know. Each box will be approx 88 pounds.

Rock will be right off the plane from Tonga, hence it will be uncured and WILL go through a cycle. You will need to cure the rock yourself.

I have used Kaelini rock in my tank for over 1 year and love it. Graham and SawCJack00 also have some of the Kaelini...

DO NOT PM me...post reply on this thread..pm box fills up way too fast....

Greg

You have a cost estimate, and did this stuff come with much extra life (creatures) last time you got it?

Cost will be about $4 per pound and that includes the freight charge to me.

IMO, this rock has more color, unique shapes and more life than Fiji rock.

It is very nice rock. In my opinion better than Fiji, not quite as nice as Marshall Island.

Probably interested

Greg,

Have you already purchased this rock? If not, or if you have 30 lbs to spare, I might be interested in purchasing some, including some of the rubble that might come with the order.

I tried to order some live rock from Premium Aquatics at the beginning of the week, but have had no response as of yet. I sent a second email to ask if there was a problem with the order and still no response. If I don't get a response shortly, I'd pursue this route.

(I'm new to this forum, so not sure of the procedures here yet.)

Greg,

My wife wants to give Premium Aquatics another week to respond, so I guess you can go ahead and count me out. Sorry for jumping in and back out like this.

Thanks for your time,
- Ben
