Throw the TV out the window (and the cable service) and you will realize the world isn't as bad as they would like to SELL you.

Amen,

Television is poison. I haven't taken time out of my day to follow a TV program since Twin Peaks... I'll say again, TV is poison... turn it off.

We all keep learning from this hobbie and it is great to get real help instead of going to a LFS that sometimes sees $$ or just give you stuff with out asking question to see if that will work for you(not all LFS are that way ,but to many are.).

I'm trying to make DVD out of my Twin Peaks VHS sets right now There are other decent shows out there too. We rent them though. Its too easy to loose a few hours... a day... in front of the tube. With no cable or antenna, when the disk is done, the disk is done

When I was in college I sat down and watched the entire Twin Peaks series. I think it was like 8 or 9 VHS tapes. Kind of fun, but if I were to do it again I would not spend 20 some hours watching them all in a row.

There is some transcendental university around here. There are some other cool things on his site from time to time. I remember seeing Wild at Heart at a campus movie. Been a fan ever since

HERESY! TV is our friend.

To quote Homer Simpson:

"Without TV, it is hard to know when one day ends and another begins."

"The answer to life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV"

TV is overrated...

Now back to HOMER

"Alcohol, the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems!"
