Lighting

Got a question about some bulbs I picked up at Dirks on saturday.
The fixture i have holds 3 hqi 10000k and 4 28 watt pc actinic. I love the fixture but the pc actinic does little about adding blue to the system. So I changed the 3 10000k for 2 20000k and my god is everything blue!! I love it ,but was wondering if they will tone down a little when broken in?(not be quite so blue)

My xm 20k's started off pretty blue then they became a crisp white with a very slight hint of blue. Took a couple weeks. These were single ended bulbs

Forgot to mention that I replaced the 3 10000k with 2 20000k (Dirk only had two) thing is you can hardly tell unless you look at the bulb. The lighting in the tank is only slightly less blue in the middle (under the old 10000k).

Scott, I must say the tank is looking pretty good. I definately don't remember those clams when I saw it last winter. Red open brain is awesome and looks bigger too.....

Part of the success is attributed to that light fixture you sold me!
Thanks again!
