Light spectrum?

I am currently running 4x96w PC. They are all actinic bulbs. Are my fish or the anemone and mushrooms in the tank going to care about the spectrum? Is there any reason to run full spectrum lights for a tank like mine?

Anemone's are typically a high light creature, shrooms will go under almost anything however some daylight would help growth.

There are some 20K blue type bulbs that have a little wider spectrum but heavy in the blue that would work but I wouldn't recommend all actinics. You really need more different parts of the spectrum to be successful IMO. If you have multiple switches you can leave the actinics on for a longer period but should run some daylights at least 4 hours a day.

I take that back. The bulbs are 50/50's. Does that make a difference?
