LFS in Twin Cities Metro?

Anyone know of any good LFS in the Twin Cities area (particularily Hennipen County)?

So far I've checked out Wet World in Eagen (best one I've seen so far), but I live up north in Plymouth, its a good 35 minute drive away. I checked out Fish & Friends today, did not really like it there, not a good selection.

Are there any other good locations in the area?

Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a 75 Gallon tank with a Stand for a Saltwater Tank?

for new tanks look at forest lake pets. for fish and corals check out oceans devotions in burnsville.

Checkout Premier Pets on HWY 10 in Ramsey. They are about $10 more on tanks, but it might be worth it saving the gas.

Hatty if you have some free time tomorrow night I'd be more than willing to meet you there and help you out. I live a 3 miles away and I could help you get a good deal. I forgot to mention the people up there aren't always my favorite as they will try and get you to buy equipment you don't need. I'll be free sometime around 7:30ish send me a pm or something.

There is also a Premier Pets in Rogers that is owned byt he same company. I bought my 75g there and they matched the prices from Forest Lake. If you have trobule with them, just ask for Chris(He is the owner).

Their number is 763-428-2346, the Ramsey# is 763-427-4808.

I go there weekly to look at stuff, but their livestock isn't very good and the place is kind of a mess, but if they match the best price, you should be happy.

"a good deal on a 75 Gallon tank with a Stand"

When it comes to a tank & stand, getting a used one will save you lots of $$$ to spend on all the other stuff you will need...skimmer, lights, etc....
Unless you have a "must have" size, color or wood type...its hard to spend 2 or 3 times the cost of what you can get used.
That said, I got a New tank and custom stand for my set-up

Thanks for all the info all. I would be meeting with Jake tonight...but I have plans, and he might be goin back to school so tomorrow might not work either. Its possible I still might be heading up that way to see a tank that JnS has.

I'll probably end up buying a tank used to save a butt load of money...the stand, not so sure. Might get a new one if I cant find a good enough looking one used.

talk to dirk if you need a stand. I understand he can usually get things at a decent price.
