Question

LF fuge light


anyone know where to get a little fuge light? its for a hang on back. just enough to keep the chaeto alive and well.

coralife mini fixtures, pretty cheap, plug and play. If the fixture is too wide for your hang on back then maybe AHSupply.com for some smaller DIY kits but you would have to build the custom light box.

If custom, I did see the 13w 65K CF bulbs at Menards $6, so if going with CF, 13W would be better than the 9w simply becuase of local bulb availability for replacements.

the flood light 65K bulbs likely not an option for you becuase that would be quite a bit of light spillage into the show tank being a hang on refuge.

I see your in Apple Valley. Wet pet stocks the coralife mini fixtures and usually has them on sale for the same price as it would cost you to buy them online and ship

I think I found a solution, I have a mini fixture and am going to get a 6500K compact florecsent bulb for it. thanks for the suggestions.
