Learning from the master........

A couple of weeks ago I went to Greg Sheilds to pick up a couple of items that he was building for me. While I was there master Greg taught me how to flame polish acrylic. I was so good at it I decided to flame polish his router table .... didn't work as well as the acrylic; actually it left a pretty black burn mark

Second funny story: a while back I was feeding my fish. I put my frozen food into a babyfood jar with some tank water to help thaw the food. I pour a small amount in my tank and let my fish it. This night I poured and little in and there was a little more splashing then normal. I set the jar of food on the counter and did some stuff in the kitchen. I came back about five minutes later; I was about to pour the second helping into my tank when I was shocked to look into the jar and see my yellow clown goby. The splash I heard during the first helping was him jumping into the jar (he really had to jump because I never put the jar in the water). I poured him and the food into the water. His stomach looked like it was going to explode - he had been munching hardcore while in the jar - lol.

I have a similar story..... awhile ago I was feeding the fish only tank. And I have this red tupperware dish that I keep the pieces of shrimp, squid etc. Anyways I set the dish down on one of the tank crossmembers (lids were open). And walked away for a moment. When I came back I saw my 2 foot snowflake moray reach his head out of the water and into the dish and grabbed a piece of shrimp and went back down to eat it. I wish I had my camera because he hasnt done it since!!!
