Kill Mushrooms

Just wondering what you guys and gals think is the best way to kill off unwanted mushrooms. They have started to over take many SPS and though I like a few in the tank for variety I still want my SPS. I have tried the Kalk method but all that seems to do is split the big mushrooms into smaller ones, that get big again. Thoughts?

I had a hydnophora that I could lay on them and they melted. Not the most heard of method but it worked sweet.

The problem they are on rocks that cannot be removed. The SPS have encrusted on the same rock so the scrooms must go,

4. Once your razor is clean and sterile, and you have both containers prepared for duty, put on your latex gloves and select your patient from the tank. If the donor colony is attached to a rock that cannot be removed from the system, simply slice through the "stem" of the mushroom and remove it from the rock. If the rock is small enough to be easily removed for easier access, do so, then slice your selected mushroom from its stem and place it in your container with saltwater only. Place the donor rock back in the tank, the tissue remaining on the rock will form a new mushroom!

the "stem" will regrow a new shroom, Id just use a caustic LPS to do your dirty work. That will melt it into oblivion
