Jerry!!!!!!!!!! (jns)
If anyone hears from Jerry have him call my cell phone @ 651-398-9846. He is in Coon Rapids and it sounds like most of the CR, Blaine, & Andover area is without power!!! Jerry earns his living by his livestock so I would invite him to bring his stuff over to Hugo since I still have power. I don't think Jerry has any backup power. I tried calling Jerry's cell but have not been able to reach him. Tell him I can make room in my sump which is pretty large as well as my 46 as well as buckets with power heads.... I can mix up about 50 gallons of water to put into buckets on top of everything else if need be.
Thanks...
Thomas

Anyone try calling spazz, then maybe he could go over there, unless he's out of town.

Hmmmm....I'm currently without power. If anyone has an extra car/marine battery or a generator that I could borrow, let me know. I'll post my cell number in the members only section. I currently have the tunzes hooked up to a marine battery, so hopefully that'll last a while. Otherwise I may be looking to get some corals back...

I dont think a feww hrs is that bad. You dont have that high of a fish load. So your O2 depetion shouldnt't be that fast. I have on quite a few occasions went 4-6hrs with nothing and never had any problems. Good luck though to all you guys up that way.
Now as bad as the little power outage you guys are having seems imagine what all the reef keepers down south are experiencing...
Good Luck to all
Casey

Derek just had a planned power outage by the power company a few days ago that lasted over three hours. I ran battery powered pumps with airstones on all the tanks in my fishroom and everything was fine. Hope everything works out for you guys in the blacked out area. I had a few days to prepare but This is one thing I'm always ready for.

for $30 bucks you can go to an all night walmart and get a 300W power inverter . hook it up to your car and it will run up to a 300W pump for like 3-4 hours. just need to run your car every few hours for a bit to charge it back up.
