Interesting very interesting, I only have one request, can we please not be quite so "hit them over the head" type conscious like back at RC!

Fast? When I tried to load this site, it didn't come up - and gave me a server error message.
Also, look at how many people use this site! NOBODY! I'd much perfer the 1000's of people at RC than this site. Having a discussion with 5 people may be nice, but I like the community elsewhere.

Can you tell me when this was? I'd also like details on the error message if you have them.
No, we aren't as big as RC...and that is a good thing. Its still there for you to use.

Alligator,
I have never had such an error here....maybe I am lucky
As far as being thousands of people here or there I would rather have our forum located on a small but fast board, than a pitifully slow big forum, and use that instead for occasional research. The tcmas board I check quite often so I like it faster.
There is no reason you can't still participate in RC's boards.....who's stopping you?
Matt

And just for Matt, you can post pictures
P.S. Bill I love your Acro pictures
P.S.S. We at TRT are more then happy to try to make the forum(s) to TCMAS's ideal.
Jon

Actually, I take back some of what I said. I see the reason now for this board, and I support it fully.
I'm not sure what error message I had, but it was similar to the error message I get at RC when the performance is bad. It's only happened the first time I tried to log in, and ever since then its been fine.
I'll use RC for posting questions, and this board for TCMAS conversations. Plus, I have to admit, the forum software is the best I've ever seen.
Didn't mean to offend anyone, I thought this was just a random decision that wasn't though out. Turns out I was wrong, it makes sense.
Still, I have to admit, without RC, I wouldn't know 1/10th of what I know about reef keeping.

hey toyfreek....geocities won't let you remote link images...but you can upload them to our photo gallery and use them in your threads that way, or you can use the attach file option when responding to a thread.
Thanks Alligator. I know the feel of RC and TRT are quite different. There's room in the reefing world for both. There's no doubt its a great resource. Hopefully you will come to enjoy TRT.
Thanks-
Brooke
