It is possible...


Check it out, this guy glued a cap to his overflow box.

just the top to let water in but no light?

or totaly stoped water flow?

reminds me of the poor man's geshield's 58! if he didn't glue corals to his overflow box they attached on their own. derek has some corals-caps-glued to the back of his new tank.

I had corals grow into the glass sides and onto the overflow box. However, they are NOT permanently attached. All you have to do is give it a slight tug and they become undone from the glass/overflow...The surfaces are not porous enough to get a strong hold. If you glue a cap onto the overflow...once it grows out and there is nothing underneath it to support it, it WILL fall down....
