ISO: 400-600 Gallon Aquarium
I am in the plannning stages of a shark tank and am in the market for a 400-600 gallon acrylic tank. I would like to get a used "reef ready" tank with dual built in overflows if at all possible. Please PM me or respond here with any leads.

Quick estimates of water capacity...
12'x4'x4' = 1436 gallons
10'x2'x4' = 598 gallons
10'x40"x40" = 831 gallons *I assumed it was not 40' and calculated at 40"
I can only dream!

Unfortunately, none of Dirk's tanks will work. The 1400 and 800 gallon tanks are just too big (I can't fit them through doors or the window) and the 600 gallon tank is too tall. I'm looking for side to side swimming room and not vertical room. The perfect tank would be 8-10 feet long, 36-48 inches wide and 24 inches (+-) tall.

Good luck, Dirk is the only regular in our club that would have something that kind of size used. Large tanks beyond 240g just aren't that common in our forum.
