Internal mounted pump temp vs. external?

So I was thinking of taking my Quiet One 3000 and placing it inside my display tank in the back behind rock, then running pipe up the back and T-ing it and running each return accross my bracing and having dual exits on them. This should get me some pretty nice flow in the tank and I could prolly take out all my MJs if I do this. I am wondering though, will heat be a factor in my tank? It's been externally mounted for 10 months and has zero influence on water temp that way.

Looking for any input,

Yes, it will affect your temp. Usually in the ball park of 1-3 degrees.

Check out Melev's websight. He has a diagram for a HOB closed loop design. Similar to what you are talking about except the pump would sit behind the tank somewhere instead of behind you rockwork. I think you would like that much better.
