Interceptor LRB tx FS...
hey gang-
my vet was kind enough to sign a script for me to get interceptor (not for my pooch but for my aquarium-yes she thought i was crazy )
i had to buy six so i have extra four large dog (51-100#) tabs which each treat 400 gal (if you follow the current tx algorithm you treat thrice so one pill will theoretically "disinfect" your 133ish or less total gallonage system).
i tried for awhile to track this down without much success so i went ahead and ordered some (besides-its not like i ever see you guys anymore-even if someone had one). i paid a little more than $7/"flavor tab". if i can sell the extras for $7/ i will be a happy man.
let me know if anyone is interested
tg
also since this thread might attract some views from sps-ers i have a tunze wavebox-barely used including new magnet holders (6080.50s)-unfortunately i don't think its not gonna work for my system-if you need/want it and want to save some cash let me know.
here's my lil interceptor gravy train...

Rich, as bad as it sounds, I may as well plan ahead. I guess I could take one or two for future use.

as for the interceptor...(not sure if i can make the meeting but i could prolly mail it out to ya'll)
mary?.....1
chad......1-2
scott.....whatevers left 1-2
i'm thinking $500 for the wavebox including the magnets (which is a savings of about $100 when you factor in tax or shipping...also factor in the waitlist if you're impatient). it sounds like a lot of money but i'm definitely not profitting-rest assured...
i wasn't sure if there would be any interest and its such a high buck item that i don't want to come across in the wrong way-hence no price initially. i'll prolly have to be patient and list it at RC because of the price but...

you probally wouldn't be interested in a trade plus some cash on a 6100, single controller, photocell and magnet would you?

hey john-i have a 6000 on the tank now and i think the current flow is just gonna have to do until i change tanks-so i'm not really interested in trade...BUT...if you want to try out the wavebox (so long as you promise to be careful with it ) you can. if you like what you see sell your 6100 setup and pay for the wavebox at that time (one stipulation being that the trial not take forever). its an offer that i wouldn't feel comfortable extending to just anyone. if smeese is interested in buying it straight up though i would have a hard time passing that up.

Hey it isn't a skimmer , I would love to take you up on that for a couple of days. However if smeese wants it I am not going to hold either of you at bay. If it works out that I can try it for a couple of days that would be great but if not I completelly understand. I have been looking at these for quite some time and wondered how it would work on my tank.

i wondered too so i dove in. having tried it on my lil tank i would say that's 3 feet of length is not enough. i think 4-6' tankers would be much happier with the results.
john lets see what smeese has to say...otherwise what are you doing later today or tomorrow?

Yeah Roger said 4 foot is about the minimum and 6 foot is ideal. LMK what smeese says. I am working today and tommorrow I am at the mercy of my family but we can figure something out.
