input needed.
i'm thinking add a big carpet(at least 12"+) in my tank. since my F.Percs dont want nothing to do with my RBTAs,and ritteri's survival rate so low, sebaes are to small for 4 perc. so carpet seem like my only way out. i heard/read alot bad experience about carpet. it's "fishkiller". i also read something about blue carpet is hard to maintance than others. but why? anyone got any experience with blue carpet or any carpet? any suggestion is welcome.
thx
Li

Try to find an established one. Years ago I tried to ship a couple in and they slowly died. I think the extra money to buy locally would be worth it. It will be cool if you can pull it off. Clownfish/anemone tank would be cool.

Give the Percs time for the RBTA, it took like 3 months for them to want anything to do with mine.

my female F.P followin the true P to everywhere. but the anemone. when she saw the anemone just like saw a ghost or something. runnin away...and now the true P take the big RBTA. i think they dont might sharin it. but i dont think F.P want to move in at all.
and my false and true P, very peaceful toward each other, i thought that might be hell of a fight...but nothing happened. they swim togather when the true P are not in the anemone...just kind wired.
very nice stand and canopy, skip!!!

Try another RBTA, that might do the trick. I've got a green LTA that the F.P. want NOTHING to do with for 11 months and counting..... Thanks for the compliment on stand/canopy

i got 2 RBTAs. and i have no more room for other RBTA... both of the RBTAs pick the same spot to settle. and the big one opened up about 12" the whole left top corner...and i really need something to fill the open spot (17" , that was my big RBTA's home once.) at the bottom of my rock work...so i need something that wont climb....
skip
u tank is loaded!^_^ post some close ups.do u have any problem with the temp. since ur tank next to ur door???

No problems with heat yet....(cross fingers) It's a window next to it, full door size window, the door looks the same next to that(to the left not seen). At night and when my VHOs are on until my MH comes on my heaters are on to keep the water at 77.5*. When all the MH are on, it takes about an hour and a half to hit 78.2* at which my sump fan comes on. A couple more hours later(depending on where the A/C is at) it will hit 78.6* and the canopy fans will turn on, and takes about 20 mins to thit 78.2* when those fans comes off. If the A/C is set at 71 or less, the canopy fans will not come on, even if all the lights were on for 8+ hours, my MH is currently on for 5 hours or so, but sometimes on weekends they stay longer if people come over.
I am curious to see what Winter does and when the heat gets turned on......
