Ich-7 Hippo Tank, sick Finger Leather, etc.

Several of you responded to my Ich problems. As best as I can tell, my Hippo Tang has recovered from about 3 weeks of Ich. It has been looking and acting well for about 2 weeks now. YEA!!!

My Finger Leather that I was certain was dead or dying seems to have recovered. All of the sudden it just perked up and is big and back to it's normal color. I didn't do anything besides look at it with a sad face. Maybe it felt sorry for me and came back from the dead.

I have a lot of what looks to me like little or baby snails in my tank, with no shells. They are pretty little. Do snails lay eggs or what?

Anyone with experiece at the place we are going for the meeting in Redwing? What kind of stuff does he usually have available to purchase? Fair prices I assume? I'm just trying to plan ahead.

Jeff, Hit or miss. Some years he gets in livestock before the meeting and sometime not. Last year he had a ton of Clams. In years past has been more SPS ( because of the demand ) rather than softies and LPS. In general, the prices are cheaper on livestock than LFS and now with the mailorder prices having gone up in recent years I would say at or better then mailorder ( + shipping ) as well.

Dry goods he usually matches mailorder prices. You do have to pay tax which generally offsets the shipping charges if bought mailorder.

Ditto: its when I purchase my VHO's in redwing yearly - its great that he does match, and its great that TMCAS does it about the same time each year, a very simple reminder to get stuff I need
