IceCap Ballast and x10 problems

I have an IceCap 660 which is plugged into my x10 outlets. It has been running just fine sense January. I noticed today, that anout every 10 minutes it shuts off and back on. Is this simular to problems that others have seen? The lights are controlled by ACII.

Any Ideas?

You might want to try the 4way HD. That is what I use for my 250 watt icecap's and vho's and don't have any problems with them at all interfering with the x10's.

The electronic ballasts both VHO & metal halide put out a lot of RF interference. There are some filters offered by X10 & also Neptune that are supposed to eliminate this problem. I have found they do a great job with electrical line noise caused by pumps however in my case they only lengthened the time between miss fires and unscheduled shut downs in regards to Metal halide and VHO ballasts. If you want near flawless running look at Neptune’s direct connect outlets.

I was hoping to not have to buy the direct connects. I have switched outlets and the problem seems to have gone away but I don't know for how long.

I'll have to get one of these... (Better safe than sorry!)
