I want back in!
Hey,
I have been out of the hobby for almost 2 years because I did not want to try to move 250 gallons of stuff. I would like to get back in, but I would like to start with a small tank and LARGE equipment. I am looking for a small tank, preferably ported. Does anyone have an Oceanic cube, 37 show, or 40 breeder they are interested in parting with?
Thanks,
Tom

Welcome back Tom ! When it's in your blood you just can't say away long....
If you can't find used, Petsmart has some interesting Oceanic 30g cubes that seems reasonable in price.....

Thanks David,
I did notice the cube closeout. I just don't want to deal with the 20" wide problem. I suppose I could go with a 250w pendant? (kinda had my heart set on a combo light with vho or pc.

Welcome back.
Depending on what you are hoping to keep in your tank, I can help you out a bit on getting your tank stocked with corals, little feather dusters, etc. I don't have anywhere near what I used to have (see some of my other recent posts about tank disasters), but I actually have quite a number of corals that I could give you frags of (or even whole colonies, if you want a leather coral). Don't hesitate to ask.
If you do, please e-mail me, don't PM (dealing with PM's is a big pain, and I tend to not have time to fuss with my chronically overloaded PM box). The only hard part of giving you corals, and my only misgiving about making these sorts of offers, is that it sometimes gets tricky scheduling a time for people to stop by, and I also tend to lose track of my communications with people I have offered things to, simply because I have too many things going on. I'm sure we can work something out though when your tank is ready.
Anyway, corals can be so expensive to buy, and most reefkeepers have things to spare, so it makes no sense to not give stuff away like this.

How about a 30 cube, and a 1300 gal sump, 1000w light and a euro reef that has a footprint bigger than the 30 cube.....LMK
