You should do extensive research on what animals your tank can support, what animals are compatable, what the feeding requirements for each animal will be. So with those factors to start with you can begin to figure some animals into YOUR budget. Do you have a budget for these fish? do you have a budgeted amount for their food requirements? Do you have proper equipment to maintain the increased bio-load on your new delicate system? If not do you have a budget for upgrades and the incresed costs often related to the upgrades? RESEARCH! that is free....try reefcentral

Didnt you just get this set up like 2 days ago?? And allready you are trying to fill it full of fish the 1st week??
I thought you allready had like 5 fish allready in other tanks to go in once it was setup. If I remember correctly they all were large sized fish. What happend to all of these that you are thinking of adding another large tang? If you are still planning on adding all of the ones you were talking about before I would suggest you slow down and do as your mom says and hit the books (forums) and research some more.

then whats the intent of the thread if you had no intent on getting them???
I would not put another tang in there that will get large, 2 large tangs in a 150g is full, I would think about something other than the Lieutenant Tang

Aghhh. That was a nice tusk.
I'm siding with your mom, research, research, research. It will save you headaches, money, and fishy lives.
If you decide to put any more wrasses in your tank, make sure you have the tank covered or the open areas enclosed/fenced. I bet a lot of members can share some painful memories of arriving home to see dried up fish.
Patience... you'll have a kick a#% tank in no time, but first you need to put in the work.

(cough) get rid of the blonde naso (cough) SERIOUSLY. They get much too large for a 150 gallon.
