I need an Eclipse 6 system!!

Does anyone have an Eclipse 6 system laying around they would like to sell. My mother would like to buy one so I can set it up for all her grandkids as a reef. I am over there pretty frequent to care for it... hopefully I will get yet another person addicted to reefing...

If anyone has anything else that is in the 6 to 12 gallon range I may be ineterested in that as well...just let me know what you have....

I have a 10 or 12 gallon flat-back hex tank I used as a non-reef for a few years before a big junp to the 90 gallon. I think it is simmilar to this:

http://www.thepetstop.com/showprofil...oc=&listpage=1

However, I know the one I have has PC lights. It also has a tiny wet-dry trickle filter built into the back with room for a pump, heater, and small skimmer.

It needs to be cleaned up and has a crack in the canopy, but it is just sitting in my garage now. Let me know if your interested.

I have a minibow 5, that is completely ready to go for a little reef. I have it retro fitted with 2x13 watt pcs. 1 actinic and 1 10K. I have a minijet 404 for it as well as a modified ac 150 into a little fuge. The mini fuge has a 7 watt 6500K PC clip on light for it. I grew macro in it and had a few chunks of lr in it as well. Just needs rocks and corals... Let me know (I can post pics of it when it was full of corals when I get home tonight)

Jeremiah, I may be interested in the minibow 5 if trodder isn't interested in it. Was looking for a small tank to set up in my office, and that sounds just about perfect.

It's a sweet tank for the office. Thats what I used it for, till I lost my other job. Not I can't even keep an open can of pop on my new desk, lol...

I will post pictures on this thread of it from when it was full and also a couple shots under the hood so you can see the retro lighting. One thing to consider in an office is the topoff. (needs to be done daily on such a small tank)

PS, Plus I will trade for any zoo or soft coral frags...

These aren't the greatest pics but you get the idea. The lights are on dual ballasts so you can have the dusk/dawn effect. The ballasts are wired remotely to keep the heat down. I also cut my own acrylic top so the water doesn't slash on the lights.

I don't want to sidetrack this thread, but...

I am looking for a 5 1/2 gallon aquarium to set up on my desk at work as a freshwater. I just noticed that the one I have has some pretty serious scratches that I missed before. I bought the new Coralife Mini Aqualight for freshwater but they have also have a model for saltwater too. Its pretty cheap, $24.99 at www.thatfishplace.com. The saltwater version comes with dual lamps: one 9 watt actinic blue and one 9 watt 10,000k daylight. Replacement bulbs are pretty reasonable too - on the order of $6 apiece.

I was just noticing when I cleaned the tank out that there is a small area of super glue I got on the detatchable base that came with it. It's on the front and is about the size of a dime. In fact you can actually see it in the first picture I attached. Second thing is that when I painted the inside of the hood so the light would blast through the translucent plastic. I did get some krylon paint on the side of the hood and a few spots on the back. Other then that I cleaned it out tonight and there was not any significant scratches that I could see on the front of the sides of the tank.

I am not really interested in getting any money for this thing. I recently got my 75gallon set up and don't have much for lighting. (only 220 watts vho) So I am just looking to trade for some softies or any other lower light corals. (shrooms, zoos, leathers, rics)

5 gallon minibow - $35
AC 150 minifuge - $20
MiniJet 404 - $20
2x13 watt pc's - $30 (bulbs only have about a month on them and are only $5 a peice from hellolights to replace.)
7 watt pc clip on for mini fuge - $15

Having my girlfriend quit whining about it sitting in the garage on top of my busted 30 gallon tank - priceless.

Well, I'll have to scratch up enough zoos, mushrooms, and softies for you. Can't say I keep much of those. Want to bring it up and do some trading? I don't need it right away and it could wait 'til the Nov. meeting, unless the whining is real bad. haha

The meeting in Nov is at your house? I can wait till then... I'll get the rest of the parts cleaned up and set it on a table in my house as if I am going to do something with it and she will quit whining for a few more weeks, lol...
