I Give Up!!!!!!

Well I decide to replace existing the two existing 55 gallon tanks that are my fuge with one single 125, to fix my pump regulating problem....well I measured to make sure the tank would fit height wise and just ASSumed that since a 125 was the display the same would fit underneath.....well no surprise....I WAS WRONG. I need something only 12 inches wide!!!! this sucks! Now I thank God have done nothing to the new one I just purchased...so it can go back, but now I have to go back over to Mankato...and try to figure out what size will fit.....I JUST CAN"T TAKE IT.

Wow, that sucks. Like my dad always said, measure twice, cut once. (In this case buy tank once.)

I think you need to build an acrylic sump. I had to do that for my 75.

I agree with Jake, find a temporary solution, then talk to Bob (jg24) or Spazz about building a sump. That way you can get exactly what you want for baffles, holes, fuge, ect...

I agree. Go acrylic and you can have the size/design you want.

You can always re-do your stand to fit the tank, and give you the look you like.

I believe you know someone who is handy with woodworking LOL!

EUREKA!!!!!!!!!!! the D**n thing is fixed!!! I have it regulated and repaired......wonder never cease to exist. I didnt have to replace ANYTHING under the tank!!!! Just ran a hose from one side of the system to the other and sucked (yechhhh) all the air out and now gravity keeps both tanks level. I pulled the fancy smancy light out from over fuge(6ft T-5 fixture) put just standard lights back over the fuge. Put protien skimmer back in fuge where it goes....NO MORE WORRIES! LIF E IS GOOD!!!!

PS: Skimmer in the fuge ? I don't know if that makes much sense. There is a lot of good stuff in a fuge which you wouldn't want to have skimmed out !
