If you are ever down in the cities, I will gladly trade you some live rock that is not encrusted with that gorg for some that is...It would need to be a pretty large piece of rock, however.

derek, it's definitely spreading like you said it would....it's out of control...we tried to peel some off for despot101 last week, but the stuff doesn't peel either...I think it's final destination will be leaned against the otherflow and just let it have it's way covering that and the glass

Thanks otolith, I'll keep that in mine. Hopefully latazyo's piece spreads out some more and I can get some from him.

I have some of that gorg covering a rock that's purposely kept away from the other rocks. It spreads like the devil across the sand bottom. Thus, it's easy to harvest with a (believe it or not) filet knife! I just harvested a TON of it and traded it at SF for some hermit crabs and astrea. So you can buy it there, or you can wait another month or two and I'll have some more to hack. You could literally just lay it on a rock and it will cover. But beware, you need to keep it away from the other rocks or you will have nothing but this stuff all over the place. It sure is gorgeous, although pervasive.
I will do a new post when I have a new crop. Oto I wish I knew you were looking for some, I would have mailed you!
Robin
