Huge M. doreensis (LTA) trade?

Hi, I have an M.doreensis that has been in my tank for appx. 4 months now. It has grown way too huge for my set-up. I would estimate it at 8 to 10 inches in diameter. Very good color, eats well, excellent at eradicating pesky SPS from the tank.

I'd be interested in a BTA, even a small clone. Would rather not ship so looking for a Minnesota trade.

It has had a few nips from an errant Mithrax, but from what I've been told those tentacles should heal up fine. I have quite a number of pics in my RC gallery, haven't learned to use the pics here yet.

I'm probably really silly for even considering anther large anemone, and maybe it already has a home, but...

What color is this anemone? Can you give me a link to a photo of it?

I think these give a fair idea on the color, when the Halides go out it is quite purple, less so when fully expanded with Halides on.

Very pretty anemone.

If you don't get a better offer (e.g. a BTA, or cash), I would gladly take it off your hands. I don't know if you have interest/need for coral frags/colonies, but I have lots of corals/mushrooms/zooanthids/cool macroalgae, etc that you could have in trade if you were interested.

A problem I see is that it appears you are in northeast Minnesota. I would not have time anytime soon to make a trip up there from the Twin Cities to get the anemone (but if you make it down to the Twin Cities occassionally for other reasons we could work something out I'm sure).

Still available. I'd rather not sell it, as I would then have to buy a BTA and probably pay shipping. Hoping to get a hobyist reared one as my experience with anemones from LFS has been pretty dismal. But, I'll keep these offers in mind.

I do get to the Cities on occasion, and to make a trade I'd make the trip. Need to check out that LFS in Forest Lake anyway.
