Should be just like any other kalk. For instance, say you are using a 5 gallon bucket on a gravity feed to a
float switch. Step 1. put 2 tsp per gallon of water you plan on pouring into the bucket (i.e., 2 tsps of kalk into bucket). Step 2. pour the water into the bucket (the water mixes the kalk up all it needs). Step 3. put the lid on the bucket and tighten it a bit, doesn't have to be too tight. That's what I do. The big dogs showed me how.
P.S. Do this again when the bucket is empty. You do not have to touch the bucket, forget about it until it is empty. Also, a float switch will start to stick after a while because of precipitate from the kalk. Take it off and clean it in vingar 1 time per month. I went with this system to
drip kalk and I like it cause it works, its cheap, keeps my sality perfect 24/7, keeps my skimmer skimming at the optimal water level, etc...
I only put 2 to 3 gallons of kalk in my bucket at a time in case my float switch sticks open. That way I don't have to worry about a kalk induced tank crash. I go through 3 gallons in about 3 days.
