Heres the plan
OK I have a busy life and like everyone esle who has been tearing dowm I dont have a lot of time for a reef.....so I'm setting up a 150 FOWLR and I have never been so excited about a tank.
The Display tank will be on the main level of my house and the sump and most electronics will be in the basement directly below.
Equipment: VHO highting in closed canopy, Circulation 2 6060 tunze (fish like current too) double over flow droping to basement with large sump prolly a modded 75 gal tank
I plan on doing a miracle mud fuge with culerpa in the middle of sump with bio ball pre and post fiter. I will be running a Aqua C EV 180 skimmer and some sort of UV serilizer.
return pump will be panworld 1100 gph pump.
I plan on having around 35-30 fish
What do you all think? Any thoughts and ideas would be great

Is this the 150 you are getting from me? Sounds great! I have a 40 breeder sump with trays for filter pads and carbon socks. It is drilled for a return pump and whatnot too. LMK

Wow I'm still doing my research. its gonna be tough to get 25-30 fish to co-exsist peacfully.
I definetly want a nice group of schooling fish prolly anthia. A few tangs, Angels, wrasse, But I want to get nice fish not your run of the mill pet-co stuff. Dont get me wrong I'll still have your basics but I would like to spend a little cash for some stellar fish

A few tangs huh? I am gonna pull my Kole tang when we switch em out. LMK if you want him. He keeps my pair of black saddlebacks out of these anenomes so they host in my enchinos. The anenomes are next to each other and the clowns want to go in them but keep getting beat up.

Sounds nice! I want to set up a FOWLR also in our office. She keeps adding to my list of projects though.
Miracle mud - personally, I would save the money. In my experience I have not had any luck with it.

I didn't notice any change or improvments from it. I used it for ~10 months 5 years ago....

Are you still thinking about a coast to coast like the one I made? The guy that gets the acrylic is going to be ordering soon and I can try to get a piece for you. I like fowlrs, are you going to have any softies in there for the action?

I think I'm going to stay away from all corals in this set up, and yes I still want to do a coast to coast so if you can have that guy get som that would be great.
