help me!!! coral trouble!


my SPS won't polyp and my softies (blastos, gorgoians, xenia leather) will not open!!! ti in a 60 gal tank with a 150 gal rubbermaid sump

200lbs of LR

1 250W blueline 14k bulb

here are the tests

NH4 0 ppm aquarium pharmaceuticals test kit
NO2 0 ppm aquarium pharmaceuticals test kit
NO3< 10 ppm aquarium pharmaceuticals test kit
PO4< 0.1 ppm Red Sea test kit
Alk 9 dkH tetratest kit
pH 8.1 aquarium pharmaceuticals test kit
Sg 1.027 Refractometer
Ca 480 ppm aquarium pharmaceuticals test kit
Sr 0 ppm salifert test kit
Mg 1245 ppm salifert test kit
temp 78 deg
any idea what i should look for? i have no clue what would make the xinea not open =(

for a bio load all i have is 3 perc a royal gramma and a serpent star

the rubbermaid was full running with the rock for 6 months and then i added the tank to it. about 3 weeks ago

when in doubt and there are no obvious signs

run carbon and do a water change.........

You just moved them, they are still acclimating to the different water/conditions. There are a couple of leathers I got 3 weeks ago that are still pissed off. Just give it some time.

Right on. IME this has been the same with any coral.

i guess it is the xenia that acared me, i'v never had it take so ong to open!

dirk ia asolutly correct...........i think that some of my stuff at home that my mom is taking care of is still coloring up.............that i got from dirk over 9 months ago no lie!!!!!
