Hey guys and girls:
On behalf of Joe, Steve and myself from The Greater Minnesota Reef Society Duluth it was nice to get down and meet those of you that attended. Otolith thanks for the Otolith Acro when it grows up I'll pass it around. To Devin and his family Thanks for hosting, the Koi operation was most interesting think you have a winner. By the way the Oceanic salt was a great deal at $37.95 for a two hundred gallon pail at Pet Store.

I did get the last pail but the girl said they will have more Friday. Ya I'm going to dump the salt out for the pail not. One of my members was good enough to part with one.

Sorta on topic.... Is that the going rate for the two hundred gallon bucket of Oceanic salt in the Cities? Or is that a "special " club rate? Where is the cheapest place to get salt in the Cities? I'll need some salt soon and a trip to the Cities might be in order.
Derek: Is that your residency diploma on your Avatar? Knew you were getting close. Congrats if so.

We honestly tried to make our first meeting. Got messed up by the tcmas.org homepage, which listed 7 pm. as the meeting time. That's a bummer....will have to meet everyone at a future meeting.
Glad everyone had a good time, and look forward to seeing you in the next month or too.

P.S. - Greg, that wireless router worked awesome. My family was in the last two weeks, and it worked perfectly for them. I normally just use it as a wired router for the LAN in my home, but the family had 3 different laptops running off of it wirelessly too! Thanks again!

Oceanic salt is ~$40-55, depending where you buy it. I've found the cheapest place to be Har Mar Pets, but apparrently Something Fishy will have it for a cheaper price soon as well.
psulion, yes it is, and thanks. If you're heading up and want to do little frag trading, be sure to let us know beforehand.

Thanks for the information. Any directions to Har Mar Pets? Will be coming north on 169 or 35. Might have a few frags. Presently fighting an outbreak of bubble algae so might be a while for your safety.

Thanks Devin and family for showing us around the operation.
It was nice to finally put faces to some of the forum names and get to talk to you in person. Hope to make more meetings in the future.
