Great road trip!

Took the new Dodge Magnum for a cruise from home (Rochester) to see Jerry and pick up some treats.

Thank You JnS!!!!

Beats the tar out of the online junk and its cherry stuff. Not to mention a fun drive with the car. No...it aint got the hemi, it was too expensive!

Sorry the pics are bad, but it was a late night!

John

I had a Magnum as a rental car in Texas, we put 1400 miles on in 6 days, awesome car! No Hemi, it was a V6 which was under powered for that car, but a V8 or Hemi would be perfect, and AWD would be nice too, especially on the beaches. I would seriously consider buying one if my Wife didn't work at a Ford dealer, unless they got one in on trade....

LOVE the Magnum! Magnesium is what they call the color, I call it gun metal green. SXT, 3.5 6L, leather, 6-CD satellite radio (with a free year of Sirius), drives like a luxury car-smooth, great zoom for a 6-banger. It thinks its a hemi so I let it play on the highway and pass lots of other cars.

Its Rear-wheel drive, but rumor is it should be OK in the winter as its weight is distributed nicely. Besides...I'm always up for a "snow day"!

I drive the twin to the Magnum the 300c and yes it has a hemi!. You will be surprised this winter. I have driven big trucks and SUV's my whole life and swore up and down I would never drive a car until they made these new LX platform cars. Went all winter and you will be blown away at how it handles in the snow and how the esp system reacts. I had to deliver one to a friend up north last winter and was going up 169 through a snow storm early in the morning and there was probally about 3-4 inchs of wet snow on the road, I was going about 70 mph and it never skipped a beat. The esp was correcting the vehicle the whole way allmost like autopilot for your car. I will take one of these cars over a front wheel drive car anyday. The awd models give the car a different look and IMO aren't nesc. They seem to sit to high and takes some of the chopped look away from the cars that make them so appealing. The big dog 300c SRT-8 should be here on the lot in about 2 weeks. It is the hemi on steroids. 6.1 liters 425 horsepower, brembo brakes 20 inch forged wheels, etc. I can't wait to take it out for a spin.
