I am now wondring how I should position them? I am waiting for the magnets and am not gonna glue in the mounts for three days of use so I am brainstorming how to get best flow in my 4 foot tank. In the back left corner of my tank I have a return line on a mag 18 with a penductor blasting across the back of the tank, and hitting the far side. Any input will help, and Vertical said he would help me tweak them when ever he can make it by. Also do most of you use the pulse action or just run em, turn em down at night? I don't bother reducing flow at night. Why would you want that?

I have the light sensor which switches it to the lower flow setting when the MHs turn off.

I let mine run round the clock. I dont see a reason to let stuff settle at night. Also if this is new with the 7095 controller (if it is I'm jealous) then set it to random...It does just that total random pulse, duration, and on off.

I have mine in the corners pointing towards the middle of the front glass. Roger suggests that is the best placement for them as the flow will "roll" off the front glass.
