Very cool, but I'd put him in the "bad" category.

Wow, I was looking at the pic, and I was like, wtf is he talking about? I thought maybe it was a carpet anemone, then I look at some other pics and now I see the outline of the crab, looks awesome, but if your losing fish, yank him out, no matter how cool he may be!

I've got one in my tank hitch hiked in a favia. Only thing hes killed so far is a few snails. He will burrow holes in the rock. Ive seen mine pick at bubble alge but not eat it. One of my pep shrimp befriended him they hang out together quite often, maybe because they share the snails? I like mine but think he might have to find a new home just in case.

Set him aside for me and will see what happens! Allthough I was unimpressed with his last showing in the ring. But he did finish him off about 3:00am that night after everyone left.

I'll rule out one of the options...certainly not ugly. Looks like a cool crab.
Pretty much all crabs are opportunistic feeders though, and I view them all with caution when they are in with animals small enough for them to grab and eat. OK, maybe porcelain crabs are safe with fish and the like, and other crabs vary a lot in their predaceous tendencies, but a crab like this would probably not hesitate to eat a small sleeping fish if it had the opportunity.
I'd keep it in another small tank if you had one...crabs are very cool creatures worthy of keeping for their own merits. Or I'd be happy to take it and put it in a tank in the lab for students to see.
