Ghost Shrimp

Will they live in a 30gal that had copper in it?

I don’t know how long it will take to convert my lion to frozen food so I would like to prepare a tank just to house ghost shrimp.

Same risks as if you had other shrimp in there. Have you thought of maybe just using a bucket or a cheap 10 gallon? A 10 gallon cost about 10 bucks.

It is prudent to use a 10g, but Steven Pro said that the whole copper in silicone thing is over blown.

Fill the tank with water and wait 2 days. Take a sample of it to your LFS, they will test for copper for free.
That is if you are truely concerned about copper presence and don't want to buy a new tank.
