FS. 2 Icecap 250w ballast/bulb/socket/reflector

As title says I have 2 250W icecap retro kits for sale. I bought them less than a week ago and have since decided not to use them. I have seen them fire up, so I know they work. It comes with everthing you need. I believe that they are the old style Icecap ballast.

I was thinking like $90 each

I realized that the new tank I had already bought was only 18" wide, I would have a hard time gettting the MH and the VHOs to fit.

Derek - I ran 2x250 wt and 2x75 wt VHO over a 46 bowfront. The widest that tanks gets is 18". Modify a couple Spider reflectors and you are in business.

18" is no problem to run VHO/MH, I did on my 90 and the 125.

the tank they were on was only 18" and had three 110 VHO's under them

i think you could choose a 15k or 20k and be very happy with no actinics .

in case you missed it from the other thread, here is a tool that lets you see all the different K's on the same tank.
