FS: 2-36 GPD RO Membrane

I have 2- 35GPD RO membranes that are for sale. I have a connection at the company that makes RO membrane and once in a while I get a couple membranes. These membranes have had about 3-4 hrs worth of tap water run thru them. The reason being, the company runs 3-4 hrs flow tests, and then throws out the filter. They have been stored in the fridge, so they a perfectly fine to use. I have used them myself.

Bob,

Do you know how universal the membranes are ? Meaning will it fit most RO units. I have a Kent Maxima RO/DI unit just sitting here because it doesn't have a membrane but no clue it would fit.

Dave,

Ya as far as I can tell they are pretty universal. Filmtec in Edina makes the membranes. They supply the membrane itself then the individual companies roll it in a case that has their name. For example my Aqua Fx unit has a membrane from a company in Wisconsin, but it is a Filmtec membrane. If you where thinking about getting one of the membranes, bring the case to the meeting and we'll see if it fits.

membranes

The membranes are all the same size until you get into the 200+ gpd, it will fit into the r/o's we all use. Keep in mind if you change your gpd on your existing r/o that the membrane flow restrictor plug somewhere on your output side of the unit needs to be change as well.
