Freaking Out!!!


okay i just got a koran angel. i thought the color looked a little blocky but i was told it was just starting to change in the mature angel that it would, well now its in my tank and swimming on its side, whats wrong and what should i do. btw two days ago it was swimming just fine and its still eating generously.

Did you just put him in ? Some fish are getting stressed out from being transported and transplanted. I had put two Tangs in my tank a while back and both where going sideways. Eventualy they acclimated and were fine. Tangs for example are known for that, I am not sure about Angels.

Sorry I pulled a Jerry, I had to re-read your post. I missed teh point of it being fine two days ago..
How about oxygen levels ? Have your pumps and lights been working fine and weren't out all day ?

i put him in yesterday night so that might be it. its not floating at the top, just the bottom

the oxygen is doing great, the pumps filters everything has been working all day and night

standard juv. coloration, with lighter color tones spotted (tiny) all over the side but not head
