I have heard you can throw them your toilet tank for about 1 month. That way they soak in FW that is replaced about 10 times a day. (Or at my house about 50 times a day )

Toilet tank is the way to go, but not if you use a bleach addative.

Thanks and not much for specs... The tank in regular 1/2" clear glass (no starrphire ) 36"x36"x12". Holds about 50g of water. Water is about 10" deep. Top of the eggcrate is about an 1 1/2" off the bottom. I have my spare 400w XM 20k that I took off the main tank for lighting. In a "coolguy" Diamond LumenarcIII reflector. Only flow in the tank is the Td off drain from the main display upstairs. Guessing it to be about 1500gph. Pretty simple setup. Only added thing beside the water volume was the light. And running it during the day on oppisite cycle as the main tank help stablize the PH.
