I'm trying to determine what types of non-frozen/fresh food I should purchase to feed along with my normal feeding schedule. Fish I'm feeding include:
Percula Clown
4-line wrasse
Damsel
Valentini Puffer
Pseudochromis
Thal. Wrasse
Dragonet (ok, I'm just happy he eats frozen shrimp)
These aren't all in one tank, of course. Future additions to this list will include a couple of angels, a trigger, a number of
fairy wrasses, and whatever else we find. We are currently feeding:
Frozen meaty seafood mix
Mysid shrimp
Frozen vegetable seafood mix (formula 2?)
Occasional krill, though most fish are too small to eat them
Sweetwater zooplankton
Occasional other chopped fresh seafood (mussels, large shrimp, etc)
My primary concerns with looking for a dry food are a) something quick and easy for those times when you're just in a hurry and b) something to supply whatever our fish might not be getting.
There's like 1000000000 different products out there. Flakes seem kinda bad because most of these fish won't eat off the surface and the flakes don't sink much. I saw some products that were supposed to be 'moist' pellets or something. Also, what about sheets of seaweed? How much cheaper is it to go find it in a grocery store somewhere?
