Feeding DT Live Skimmer on or off?

For those who feed DT Live or a similar product, do you turn your skimmer off when feeding? Reason I'm asking is because I have started using DT Live.
A few years ago I would add a SeaChem additive that was red in color. When I would emtpy the skimmer after adding the additive the gunk was red. So Im wondering how much of the DT goes in the skimmer.
It is an AquaC EV120 using a mag 5 on a 92 gal tank.

TIA
Ken D

Personally,
I feed with the skimmer on, I dont go through alot of DT's though cuz My tank is small, on a larger tank I would want to get as much bang for my buck so I would shut it off.
HTH,
Matt

I shut it off for an hour or two whenever I feed any particulate food - live or dead. I don't know how much any given skimmer would remove, but it just makes sense to me to let the stuff float around for a while without the risk of becoming skimmate. That's kind of counterproductive...
