feedback on quiet One 3000?

anyone have any luck or problems with quiet one 3000?

I like mine, havn't had a single problem, cleaned it once (6 months of use) and didn't even need it. I run mine externally and the pumps transfers zero heat to the water. I'm prolly going to switch to a 4000 though to get a lil more flow. Definetly more quiet thena Gen X. Some people didn't have luck with them and will bash them to know tomorrow, but I'm one that would buy another, and another if need be.

I'm one of those that will never buy another POS quiet one pump. That said, that was prior to the new designs. I'll stop my bashing now.

I had a 5000 from marine depot like 1 month ago external for a closed loop..was loud as hell and hot as hell. i must have got a defective one?? returned it! will never try another.

last time i got a 4" neon green rics rock for 34.99(b/c they sell alot thing underprice.i dont know mistake or what. but i got the invoice to prove...after my order the price goes up to normal*_*)

I tried a Quiet One 6000 for return on my 120 and it quit working after a couple months. Got a replacement and that one also quit working after a couple months. I returned it for credit and bought an Oceanrunner 6500 from Dirk and it has been working beautifully for many months. Quiet One is a brand I will never use, too shaky, I don't care if they have new parts or replacements. They should work the first time.

Why would i be mad???

I actually got a coral life pump instead for around 160.00 so worked out for the best!
