False Perc needing help!

So along with the LR I purchased I was also given a mated pair of false percs. One immediatly did not look good when transferred into a bag, it had an hour long trip home where I put the pair into water and O2. It would swim on it's side and not look good. So my foster parent for the time being for the fish took them home and put them into his QT. Well 3 days later it's pretty much laying on it's side, sometimes jerking a bit. Is it doomed? Is there anything we can do to help it? I always wanted a mated pair, and if I lose this one, I'll need to aquire a mated pair and give this other one up. Input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

dont get too upset right away. if you get another perc that is smaller than the one you have now, there is a 50/50 chance that they will pair up. i bought 2 false percs and one ended up dying. i got another one a few weeks later and it took a few weeks but they are paired up and living in my elegance coral.
