Emperor UV

What is your experience with this UV? Is it worth the extra bucks over other UV?

I have a 125 gallon with 40 gallon sump. What UV size and pump should I get? The main purpose of this UV is for disease control. Is it submersible?

Thanks.

I run a 40W UV on my 3000gal pond. Good to get the green out, but i never ran one on a saltwater tank. Dont see the need for it. A small UV on a QT would works well, but not sure what diseases the UV will help with in your show tank.

Is the Emperor UV lite 40W enough for a 125 gallon? How do you hook it up? What pump?

Yes a 40W is enough for a 125, I would pump 300-500 gph through it for disease controll.

for the 2040 314 GPH recommended / 525 GPH max. 500gph is way too much for the 2240 from their web site. 197gph recommended and max of 327gph.
