Never directly fed mine and they are growing and spreading.

its cool to watch too...

they'll eat just about anything small enough to fit in thier mouth, small chunks of silversides, squid... anything. just grind it up really small to do it, if you do.

otherwise, if you have lots of corals, and feed the tank, they'll eat that too.
