DE 250W Users

I'm just wondering what type of bulb everyone prefers for 250W DE with electronic ballast. Brand and Par rating?

Also where is the cheapest to get them these days??

What ballast? IC will fire more blue than other ballasts.

Wild--are those the ones you bought from me? If so, they are IceCap ballasts that can only fire DE bulbs.

I plan on running the Phoenix 14K bulbs.

Yes, they are Derek.

Do you have a place you can get the Phoenix for a good price? I'd like to try those.

I believe if you search a little more, you can find them around $55...Ask Oyam, he's the one who did the searching and found them.

My 2x250 are currently the giesemann 14.5k running on ic electronic ballast. I may change brands next time but i will stick with the 14k. I have tried both higher and lower par but think this middle of the road looks best.
