cyclopeeze frozen or freeze dried

Any clear advantages of the frozen over the freeze-dried. I have lots of frozen but but I don't know if its still good because it looks like may be freezer burned ( or at least iced over ).

Thinking about just getting freeze-dried instead this time. Just becuase easier to keep from ruining.

Also out of curiosity, whats the shelf life of brine shrimp eggs. I have some that have been sitting at room temperature for a couple of years. I guess I could try and see what the hatches ( if any ).

Brine eggs

Putting into the refrigerator helps keep the moisture levels lower. Hopefully extending the shelf life. I have heard you can keep them for years, just the hatching percentages drop a bit.

one clear advantage is the frozen doesn't float. to get around that i personally either pinch it in the tank water or spray it through a bottle like this.

i have a ton of these , you can have one for free if ya want to try it out.

As sea monkey said- The frozen stays in the water column better. I have found the fish don't go "crack" crazy over the freeze dried like they do the frozen.

The freezer burn won't hurt it any. Just use it.

I used to feed cyclop-eeze on my last tank. I have never used the dried kind, but the fish and corals did go CRAZY for the frozen stuff. When I get my new tank going hopefully I can find some frozen locally so I don't have to pay the expensive shipping.
