Cucumber

Does anybody ever feed their fish cucumbers or any other vegetables? I have a tang that I think would probably eat them, but I'm wondering if there's any reason not to do it.

pesticides perhaps. My guess is that you would be fine as long as you wash it good first. I had good luck with freash spinich and my purple tang.

think you need to blanch them first to aid in breaking the cell wall.
Seaweed/ Nori seem to be better for marine fish.
