So I was checking out some frags I got form Jake right before I went to bed last night and I noticed something crazy. As I was hunched over, forehead nearly touching the glass, I noticed a large
astrea snail slither by. It had a RBTA stuck to its shell. The anemone had a foot that was about the diameter of a dime. First it surprised me that my anemone wouyld split after having split like 2 months ago. Second it was on a snail! I took a few pics, but didn't get to upload them before work. The anemone that split wasn't healed all the way yet from the last split. It took a little damage when I moved it, so I am sure it split because of stress.
At first I flipped the sanil in the sand because I didn't want it crawling over corals and stinging them with the anemone, but then I felt bad just killinmg it so I put it upright and watched it slither off. I saw the anemone this morning and it was stuck to a rock near the top of the tank.
Crazy!
