I'm not sure about the oceanic tanks, but if it's a brace and it's cracked it not doing it's job. Just my $.02 but I would see what others say.

Is it a crack, or is it split or seperated where there is actually a gap?

It shatter across the brace and broke into many small pieces. I just moved my tank to a new location and really need it up and running. I just want to know if the the tank would hold water without a brace. Or if anyone has an idea I can use to fix it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Is there any plastic at all on it on the upper rim? If so, maybe try to get some hard plastic and cut out a brace and glue it super good. Might get you by I dunno.

I would not trust the tank without a center brace. If you need it up and running, you can always get a bar clamp, anc put that on in place of the center brace.
