Mag cleaner, water change, razor blade for glass, CC for acrylic

Windex would be a BAD BAD BAD idea!

For glass, Rain-X on the outside works great for keeping salt and water spots off.

What are you talking about here ? Just fingerprints and smudges ? or cleaning up silicone messes ? Good ole' water with paper towels should do it and razor blade for any silicone mess.

I have used Simple Green before on my tanks and rinced it very well. Never had a problem with it.

vinigar will surprise you. i however just use distilled water and a tissue to get the salt and smudges off the glass. then i use another tissue to dry the glass, then another tissue to polish the glass and if needed, ANOTHER tussue.

in the petshop i worked at, we used vinigar and rags to clean the tanks.
