(BTA) Anemone ?

Looking for thoughts. My black osceolaris clowns are in a BTA that has not stopped growing and apparently doesn't want to split. How big can they get? I measured this guy at 14" edge to edge.. I'm just wondering because I keep having to move other corals further and further away from him.

We've had it about a year and a half. It started out less than 5" across. It seems like the last three months it's really taken a growth spurt.

I have been thinking of doing that, especially after seeing your demonstration when we stopped at your house on the poker run , but I just don't have the confidence to chop it. I was hoping there was a limit to size where it would just naturally split.

well, it will probably split in the next few months, but you can stress it out if you want to hurry it along. You can do a big water change, or knick it with a razor blade everytime you are in the tank doing anything, stop feeding it, or you can do what Davidsreef did (which I do not recomend, and neither does he...lol.) which is raise the alk in your tank quickly. His did a quad split when he did that, however, he is lucky nothing croaked on him .
