Bozo Rests In Peace

My very first saltwter fish, Bozo (an oscelaras) passed away yesterday. He seemed to be very fond of sightseeing down in the sump. The only wey I figured he kept getting down there was over the top of the overflow, which I bought some acrylic to make a top for, but hadn't had time to make it. After several 'trips' down there, this one must have killed him. Found him floating down there last night. R.I.P., Bozo.

Unhappy

Sorry

So sorry to hear of your loss. It's never fun or easy. At least you'll be prepared for the next jumper.

BTW how old was he to you?

Best of Luck,

MPLS_Gazer

My Ocellaris likes to jump into my pre skimmer for my bak pak skimmer. Thought I lost him a couple of times, but I hooked up a little grate over the area I know he got in through and he hasn't ended up in there since.

My perc used to host in his Brain. I got up yesterday morning and he wasn't there and the carpet looked awfully big. I think he must've floated over to the anemone in his sleep and the rest you can figure out for yourself.

I feel for you.

Your anemone must have been starving to eat a perc. Or maybe he's just hiding in the carpet. This is why mondays suck.

Thanks, guys.

I had him for just over a year, and he was actually only my second casualty ( if you don't count a few snails and hermits).

Seems this may be a common problem, based on the replies so far.

I'll miss him, but I feel bad for my kids, ages 2 and 6, because he was the favorite. Even before "Nemo".
