Book recommendations

Hi all,

I have the basic books by Fenner and Tullock about marine aquaria, but I havevn't yet bought specific books for the corals, inverts and fish. What do you all recommend as the best of books on all of these or any one of these subjects?

Reef Secrets by Alf Jacob Nilsen & Svien A. Fossa.
The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert M. Fenner
Marine Reef Aquarium Handbook by Dr. Robert J. Goldstein
Reef Invertibrates by Anthony Calfo & Robert Fenner

I have read many books on the subject of marine aquariums but these are my favorites so far.

I can bring most of these to the meetings if you want to look at them, but I need to which ones.

If you like pretty pictures of the reef, the 3 volume "Corals of the World" set by J.E.N. Veron is wonderful.

It's more of a taxonomic guide to hard corals than anything, but there is quite a bit of their natural history and all kinds of other "sciencese" to soak in. Kind of dry for some because there are little direct applications to your tank. It's my favorite, though considering the others are mostly teaching "their" method(s)....and it looks like we already have internet access (if you catch my drift).

Wildprairie, check with Dirk. I think he has all the aforementioned titles, plus more, and he usually matches mailorder price.
